With over 25 years of rich and diverse experience in elite schools across India and abroad, as well as in higher education as a university lecturer in English, I have had the privilege of teaching students from a wide range of age groups, cultural backgrounds, and nationalities. My journey as an educator has allowed me to engage with learners from around the world, fostering a deep understanding of varied educational needs and learning styles. Holding a CELTA certification (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge English further enhances my internationally recognized expertise in teaching English to non-native speakers, particularly adult learners. Throughout my career, I have consistently embraced opportunities to share knowledge, implement best practices, and contribute meaningfully to academic communities. As a Senior Section Head, I aim to give my best to the students while also supporting and guiding my colleagues by sharing effective and innovative teaching and learning strategies.
I joined GIS with a strong commitment to bringing the best of my global teaching experience into the classroom, to inspire and empower the younger generation. I firmly believe that education is a powerful tool to shape responsible, compassionate, and capable global citizens, and it is this belief that continues to drive my passion for teaching.
