RULES AND REGULATIONS
- The championship shall be conducted under the rules of Swimming Federation of India (SFI).
- Students who have been enrolled in the school from the beginning of the academic year or term shall be eligible to participate in this Aquatic Championship.
- Documents required to be submitted:
- a) Duly filled ENTRY FORM as attached.
- b) Passport size photograph of each player to be attached in the ENTRY FORM.
- c) Email the duly signed softcopy of the ENTRY FORM latest by Saturday, 5 July 2023 and submit the duly signed hard copy on the day of the event.
- d) The team needs to bring the original AADHAR CARD and school’s current IDENTITY CARD of the participants and of the escorting teacher (one). Submit a photocopy of the same on the date of the event.
- MAXIMUM 12 STUDENTS can participate from each school
- a) A participant will be allowed to participate in ANY TWO individual events
- 50m Free Style
- 50m Back Stroke
- 50m Breast Stroke
- 50m Butterfly Stroke
- Relay Event will be as per the age category. It will be mixed with a team comprising of 2 BOYS and 2 GIRLS.
- Once the sequence for Relay Race is submitted in the given format, it will not be changed on the day of the event.
- Videography and Photography is strictly prohibited.
- All the participants shall carry proper kit.
- Any violation of the eligibility rules will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
- The position of winners will be decided based on time trials.
- The decision of the Chief Referee and the Technical Committee will be Final and binding on all the players/teams.
- The over-all championship will be given to the school scoring maximum points.
- Individual championship and team championship points will be calculated based on the highest points of the swimmer and highest points of the school’s event category.

- The Host School reserves the right to change the date and time of any event under any unforeseen situation.
- The team in-charge will be responsible for the conduct of his/her team on and off the field.
- Any unfair and unwarranted behavior from anyone concerned will not be entertained and accepted.
- Protest, if any, should be lodged with a documentary proof in writing to the Organizing Secretary & GIS Committee within 30 minutes after the match is over, accompanied with a fee of Rs 1,000/- (in cash). The decision of the Principal and Organizing Committee in all matters of dispute will be final and binding to one and all
- Every competitor shall use the lavatory and shower before entering the swimming pool. A competitor who is suffering from infection of ear, nose, throat, eyes or any other communicable disease will not be allowed to enter the swimming pool.
- The participating team will be responsible for their belongings and are advised not to carry any expensive items with them.
- The school will not be responsible for any loss, mishap, illness, or accident, which occurs during the championship, nevertheless all the adequate measures will be taken.
