At GIS, the lunch break is more than just a meal—it is an extension of learning and community building. Mealtime becomes a joyful ritual where students not only eat together but also engage in activities that teach them life skills and values.
For our youngest learners, even plucking fresh “dhaniya-methi ki patti” turns into an exciting kindergarten activity. Older students participate in laying the tables, serving food, and handling cleaning duties on a rotational basis, making lunchtime a shared responsibility and team effort.
Every child is served a Balanced Nourishing Meal, thoughtfully designed to meet their nutritional needs. Alongside healthy eating, they learn the importance of appreciating food, serving others with care, sharing with friends, respecting helpers, and enjoying meals as a community.
In this way, lunch at GIS is not just about food—it is about learning together, bonding as a family, and creating lasting memories over their favorite meal of the day.
