IPS Dr Varun Kapoor at Golden International told how to avoid cyber crime*

Indore Golden International School organized a program in the school to make school children aware about cyber crime. In which IPS Dr. Varun Kapoor, who is posted in the Additional Director General of Police, Rustom Ji Armed Police Training College, elaborated all the children about the various types of online frauds dominating  today’s era, how criminals are exploiting children and elders through social media fraud. He also bestowed information about fraudsters , made children aware about how to avoid such frauds and curb them.

 Ended the entire session with five important key points – Mindset of Security and Safety, Avoid Shortcuts and Greed, Think Before You Act, Do Not Blindly Trust in Cyber Space.

Mr. Kapoor also told how the unknown enemy behind the screen is always ready to attack us. He is a threat which we cannot see. This session was very beneficial for the students because in today’s environment, children are completely active on social networking sites . Students of Golden International School also participated enthusiastically in the discussion.

IPS Dr. Varun asked the children many questions about cyber crime and the police also gave a golden batch to the winners as an appreciation. the students
